What are Mandalorian Bit Badges for Twitch good for?
Affiliates and Partners can replace Bit Badges with their own custom designs and names for their channel, starting with the 1 and 100 Bit Reward Tier and beyond. Users are eligible to start receiving emote rewards only at the 1,000th Bit Reward Tier, as Emote Reward slots are progressively unlocked starting from the 1,000 Bit Reward Tier up to the highest tier.
This is an opportunity for you to further customize the rewards for your community, and to have those rewards align with the vision for your channel.
Managing your new Mandalorian Bit Badges for Twitch:
To manage your Bits reward tiers, head to your dashboard. On the left-hand sidebar, click Preferences, then Partner or Affiliate. Here, scroll down to the Bits Tier Badges under the Bits & Cheering section.
Here, you can choose which Bits Badges are enabled on your channel. Viewers unlock badges based on total Bits used to Cheer for you. The highest unlocked enabled badge will appear next to viewers’ names. All badges are on by default, but you can choose which chat badges your channel supports by deselecting the Badge Tiers you would like to ignore.
Uploading Bits Badges:
You will need each Bit badge image as a .png in the following three sizes: 18 x 18px – 36 x 36px – 72 x 72px
- Click Edit on your desired Bits reward tier.
- If you’d like to change the name of your bit badge, enter it under the Badge Name field.
- Under Badge Image, click or drag and drop the appropriately sized file onto each box.
- Click Save.
Once uploaded, your custom badges will be immediately available on the site. Any viewers that already have a Bit badge will have to Cheer once for their badge to be updated to the new custom design.
